About me.

Born in London and raised in a small village in the stunning English countryside sounds like a dream in itself, however I always had an eye for adventure, and at 18 years old I moved to Antigua in the Caribbean to work in resort management. This was my first exposure to Superyachts and I immediately knew I had to work on one.

Fast forward over 2 decades and I’m proud to say I’ve had a long and varied career as a yacht crew member, with over 15 years as Captain on both charter and private operations throughout the Mediterranean and Caribbean. I come with excellent longevity, a wealth of knowledge and experience and have had the pleasure of working with some fantastic owners and crew in my time, in some of the Worlds most desirable locations.

When not at sea you’ll find me at home in beautiful Stockholm where I live with my wife. Days are spent exploring the archipelago, or pursuing my various hobbies, cooking, furniture design and building, (no, not IKEA 😅), wine studies and spending time catching up with family and friends. When scheduling allows I try to get in an annual ski trip, a prerequisite when married to a Swede, and in the warmer months we try to dive as much as possible.

My current focus is to build on my career and to continue to establish a reputation as a competent, reliable and successful Yacht Captain. I thrive in the environment yachting provides and relish the opportunity to meet and work with a multitude of people from owners, to charter clients, to contractors and crew. I’m proud of the position I hold and consider myself an ambassador for the owner and their yacht, and a mentor for my crew. An excellent crew is the foundation to a well run Yacht, and this is something I direct a lot of focus to.

This is a privileged and exciting industry to be a part of and I look forward to the direction Yachting is taking!
