I joined M/Y SOHO in 2013 as the new owners first Captain and cruised extensively throughout the Mediterranean, from Marbella to Malta to Istanbul and into the Black Sea, covering much of Turkey and Greece during the 2013 season. I was then instructed to prepare the vessel for a full refit ahead of a busy charter schedule in the 2014 season. We successfully completed our refit ahead of schedule and in budget and were able to present the best Falcon yacht in her class at the upcoming ECPY shows. SOHO filled her charter calendar with many repeat clients and built an excellent reputation as a quality charter yacht with guaranteed guest satisfaction. 

This was a heavy use yacht with long seasons and a demanding calendar. My tenure onboard allowed me to build an extensive network across the Mediterranean from yards, to contractors to agents and brokers, and gave me encyclopaedic knowledge of her waters and cruising grounds. We were fortunate enough to have many repeat crew over the years and some crew subsequently joined the following yacht, SOHO II in November 2022.

After 8 years onboard I was instructed to prepare the yacht for sale. We exhibited the yacht at the upcoming show in Nice, and due to her upkeep and reputation an offer was made within the first hour of the show. The sale proceeded to completion with minimal complications shortly after.
