My ‘first drive’ over 15 years ago, Tumi&Pasha was operated as the owners day boat while his larger yacht was away on charter. Based in Monaco with daily trips up and down the Riviera, I joined Tumi&Pasha as Mate, but shortly took over as Master upon completing my Yachtmaster offshore ticket. The yacht operated with 2 crew and carried very high profile guests. We were on permanent standby throughout the season and the vessel had to be ‘guest ready’ each day in preparation for day trips. The yacht was commercially registered and winters were used for refit works and to ensure we retained our commercial endorsement, whilst operating to a very strict budget.
